Alpha Estate is located in Amyndeo, North West Greece. It is the brainchild of two visionaries, second generation vine grower Makis Mavridis and Bordeaux trained wine maker Angelos Iatrides. Aromas of ripe red berries, strawberries, dark cherries, liquorice, sundried tomatoes and delicate spice. Full bodied and structured on the palate, with a rich depth of fruit, concentrated savoury notes and a touch of oak. The velvety tannins lead through to a persistent and aromatic finish. Full body, rich fruit, velvety tannins. Class.

In some years—2016, for example— La Dilettante can be slightly tense, even while retaining a sturdy spine of acidity and minerality. This great 2017 vintage, by contrast, is dry, floral, and all lean muscle, with notes of pear, green apple, and Meyer lemon. Elegant nose of lime and lychee with white flowers and honey and a chalky streak.

The history of Maison Vincent Girardin is relatively recent. In 1980, at the age of 19, Vincent Girardin, the son of a family of winegrowers based in Santenay since the 17th century, decided to strike out on his own, and began producing wine from two hectares of vines that he had inherited from his parents.A feminine wine which is one of the only Burgundy Pinot Noirs you can already enjoy and drink when young.

In 1962, 19 vine growers from San Marzano whose families had farmed the land for generations, combined their efforts to establish 'Cantine San Marzano'. Through the decades this cooperative has grown significantly, attracting over 1,200 vine growers. This is a bone-dry Verdeca which shows a richness of aromatics, white flowers, crisp green apple and a hint of honey. Full flavoured, with a creamy texture and a long and intense finish.

Domaine La Garrigue is set in the heart of the Vacqueyras appellation in the Southern Côtes du Rhône, in the Vaucluse department of France. The estate buildings are just 2.5 km from the main village, on a plateau called Les Garrigues. Only 1,000 cases of the wine are made every year, and it is highly sought after. The 2016 Vacqueyras is deep purple in colour with scents of red fruits, herbs de Provence and black pepper. Bruising flavours of sweet cherries and spice with a wonderful liquorice, herbs and spices - rustic and charming with a lingering finish!

Vinessens is a small family winery whose owners Andrés Carull and Marta Ribera produce signature and/or garage wines with an ecological philosophy. Tragolargo, as the name itself indicates, is a pleasant and easy to drink wine that expresses with its youth the freshest character of the Monastrell grape. Super drinkable version of this robust grape. Black and red berries with plenty of smoked meat. BBQ WINE!
