The Côtes-du-Rhône Rouge ‘L’Enclave’ is very much a ‘petit Côte-Rôtie’ from Champrond and Bonnivieres, while the IGP Syrah is planted on schist soils near the domaine at Le Vallin. On the nose there are floating aromas of violets, soaked black cherries, flint, smoke and a lovely savouriness all throughout. The palate is tender though driven and structure with plenty of voluptuous fruits. The finish is clean and refreshing.

The estate is located in Chavanay, in the hamlet of Ribaudy, cradle of the Faury family. Here successive generations have acquired and passed on a know-how that best enhances the wealth of this wine heritage. Today, the 17 ha estate is in the hands of Lionel Faury. Signature aromas of ripe red and dark berries, with a smoky mineral element, delivering black pepper with tapenade, wild herbs and crushed black berries. A great long finish with hints of sweetness and gentle tannins.
Domaine La Garrigue is set in the heart of the Vacqueyras appellation in the Southern Côtes du Rhône, in the Vaucluse department of France. The estate buildings are just 2.5 km from the main village, on a plateau called Les Garrigues. Only 1,000 cases of the wine are made every year, and it is highly sought after. The 2016 Vacqueyras is deep purple in colour with scents of red fruits, herbs de Provence and black pepper. Bruising flavours of sweet cherries and spice with a wonderful liquorice, herbs and spices - rustic and charming with a lingering finish!
