  • The Cooperativa Santa Isidro de Pegões is always up among the country's top co-op's and has an excellent portfolio of wines. It was founded in 1958 and the cooperative is made up of 140 winegrowers and has access to over 1100 hectares of vineyard located in the Terras do Sado area of the Setúbal peninsula.  The result is a full flavoured wine with fruity aromas of orange blossom, ginger and ripe fruits which work in harmony with the oak spice.  Rich and opulent on the palate with a creamy vanilla spice, it has a persistent, elegant finish.

Faultline Sauvignon Blanc 2019, Marlborough, New Zealand £13.00 This typical Kiwi Sauvignon Blanc offers peapods, gooseberry and asparagus with a fresh and herbaceous flavour. Ideal for a glass or two or it works well with food. Malbec Le Pur Fruit du Causse 2018, Cahors, France £15.25 Bright, intense purple colour, recognisably Malbec with bramble fruit and grip, yet at just 12.5% alcohol it’s a genuine vin de soif – even for serving slightly chilled in warmer summer months. Radically brilliant.

  • Tocco Colline Pescaresi is an organic family farm in Alanno, in the Pescara hills in Abruzzo. This organic Pecorino is bright in colour, intense lemon zest and heaps of minerality. Fresh and very drinkable, also a great food wine.
  • This is a wonderful Premier Cru Chablis, vines all planted on Kimmeridgian limestone. The 1er Cru Fourchaume is produced from vines planted between 1942 and 1989. The wine offers vanilla, smoke and sweet cooking spices such as nutmeg alongside wonderful honeyed notes.
  • This classic Chablis come from parcels situated beside the village of Fontenay-Près-Chablis, at the very heart of Chablis’ vineyards. There’s no oak but lots of lively stone fruit and citrus flavours with a mouth-watering, crisp finish and almost chalky minerality, thanks to the old vines chosen to make this fabulous wine.
  • Neal and Judy Ibbotson were pioneers in the Marlborough wine industry, first planting vineyards in the valley in 1978 and then establishing Saint Clair Family Estate in 1994. They own 160 hectares of vineyard in 10 different Marlborough locations chosen specifically for the attributes of their individual "terroir" and ability to produce top quality grapes. Saint Clair Omaka Reserve Chardonnay has aromas of fragrant peach, toasted hazelnut and cinnamon spice with smoky nuances. The palate is round and full with nectarine, vanilla, nutmeg and a gentle touch of coconut. Drinking beautifully now, this wine will continue to evolve and reward over the next five years with careful cellaring.
